'07 GMC Canyon

The standard models (Extended and Regular Cabs) of the 2007 Canyon include a 2.9-liter engine capable of powering up a commendable 185 horsepower with a manual five-speed transmission. The Crew Cab is available with a four-speed automatic transmission and a more powerful 3.7-liter 242-horsepower five-cylinder engine.

The new engines in the 2007 GMC Canyon provide top-notch performance on highways with the stiff suspension. The two-wheel drive version, with a highway mileage of 26mpg, is more economical in terms of fuel than the four-wheel drive version. The new engine choices start with a 2.9L Inline-4 producing 185HP and 195FTLB of torque and end with the 3.7L Inline-5 boasting 242HP and 242FTLB of torque. The 2007 GMC Canyon is continues to be offered in either a rear-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive platform mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission or 5-speed manual transmission.

The Canyon sits on up to 126” wheel-base tires for all-around great traction, control and safety for the driver and occupants. The EPA has estimated gas mileage to be at up to 20mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway.
